Delivering measurable business impact

PDQ is focused on ensuring that our clients realize measurable ROI benefit, including a substantial reduction in total cost of ownership (TCO). We use a four-step methodology where business impact analysis is performed at each stage and expected outcomes are re-confirmed.

PDQ 4-Step Methodology

1. Opportunity Identification

PDQ's Application Development team works with clients to determine which applications will deliver the greatest business impact to their organization, assessing both revenue producing and cost-savings opportunities. We will also work with financial teams to develop the cost of the project and the anticipated ROI.

2. Proof of Concept

A key milestone for each project is our Proof of Concept Application phase. It runs approximately 10 to 30 days. PDQ will work with key stakeholders to develop preliminary application requirements, including database requirements, query and report content, end user requirements, and user interface design specifications.

PDQ will then use rapid prototyping tools to generate working models that reveal valuable information. This information is then used to quickly refine the application requirements and if needed, adjust business impact analysis.

3. Pilot Application

Within this phase the application is developed and deployed to a limited set of users and within a controlled environment. This phase typically takes 30 - 90 days with users testing the application using live data. Based on performance results and user feedback, we then ready the application and the organization for production deployment. At this stage, a final business impact analysis is also completed.

4. Production Development, Deployment and Operations

In this phase, the application is refined to support a production environment. It is then deployed to the targeted user community, and the ongoing operations are launched in this phase. At this time the PDQ Hosted Analytical Application is fully operational.
