Get Notices on Updates to the PDQ Package Library

Package Library

noun \ˈpa-kij | \ˈlī-ˌbrer-” \

a collection of common or popular applications and runtimes pre-built to silently install by the Admin Arsenal team available in PDQ Deploy. See also: sys admin time saver, pure awesome.

Now that we’ve gotten that defined, the next question sys admins often ask once they’ve gotten their hands on PDQ Deploy is how do I know when a new update or package is available? Well, there are a few options available.

Email Notifications

This is probably the most requested way to get notifications. It’s not available natively in PDQ Deploy, but you can subscribe to email notices on our support site. We have an area there dedicated just to updates to packages, subscribe to that feed and you’re golden! When a new package comes out you’ll receive an email as soon as it’s posted here.

While we’re on the subject of the support site…if you’re not on it, it’s a great resource for all things PDQ. If you have a question on any Admin Arsenal product, this is where you’ll want to go to find your answers. In addition to asking questions you can also make requests for videos. In short, if you want to get the most out of your PDQ products you’ll want to get involved in the community here.

We’re on Twitter

You may already be following us on Twitter @admarsenal, (if not, it’s a great way to be first to know about what’s new in PDQ products as well as read up on tips ‘n trick for sys admins) but are you following us @PackageLibrary? Every new update to the Package Library is tweeted here.
