Silently Install PuTTY (64-bit) 0.69

Step 4. Deploy a silent install of PuTTY (64-bit) 0.69 to multiple machines

  1. Download and install PDQ Deploy
  2. Enter License Key information
  3. Import the PuTTY (64-bit) 0.69 package into PDQ Deploy
  4. Right-mouse click on the imported package > Deploy Once
  5. Choose Targets from Active Directory, PDQ Inventory, Target List, etc.
  6. Click Deploy Now

About PuTTY (64-bit)

PuTTY is a free implementation of Telnet and SSH for Windows and Unix platforms, along with an xterm terminal emulator. chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty

It is written and maintained primarily by Simon Tatham.

The PuTTY installer was changed from an EXE to an MSI after version 0.67.

Version 0.68 and later uninstall previous EXE versions before installing the latest version.

If you use GSSAPI libraries then the architecture of PuTTY should match the GSSAPI dll file (either 32 or 64-bit).
