We’ve rolled out several updates to PDQ Connect designed to make your day-to-day work smoother. Here’s what’s new.

Get guidance without leaving Connect

A new in-product help menu in Connect makes it easier than ever to find answers and resources right when you need them.

Get guidance without leaving your workflow

When you’re in the middle of a deployment or troubleshooting an issue, the last thing you want to do is open three new tabs just to find an answer.

That’s why a new help menu inside Connect brings documentation, release notes, system status, and community links into one convenient place. Now available in the menu:

  • Release Notes

  • PDQ Status page

  • PDQ Discord community

  • Direct link to our Knowledge Base

  • Option to search the Knowledge Base directly from Connect

  • New Ask our docs option for conversational, cited answers from the PDQ Knowledge Base

    • AI-powered and limited to KB content

    • No access to devices or environment

    • Daily sync with KB content

ICYMI: Connect + Freshworks integration help you resolve tickets without switching tools

Integrate Connect with Freshservice or Freshdesk, and start resolving tickets without bouncing between systems.

Add the PDQ Connect sidebar to your tickets to:

  • Automatically surface matching machines based on the requester’s email

  • Deploy software in one click

  • Launch remote access immediately for that device

  • Open device details in Connect

Enable the integration from the Freshworks marketplace.

The PDQ content team writes practical guides for sysadmins on patching, software deployment, and endpoint management. We test instructions and prioritize steps you can copy and run. Whether you manage 15 devices or 15,000, our goal is the same: faster fixes, fewer surprises, healthier fleets.
