I think we can all admittedly say that PDQ&A is one of our favorite webcasts because it's your time to shine. You guys and gals make up the whole show, and we get to take the week off. Thanks for the tougher questions too, they make Lex and Jordan work harder and actually earn the salary they get here for a change. So, with that, let's get to it. The glory of this blog post is you can read or watch, depending on your preference.
We'll take your questions now
Question: In PDQ Inventory -> all computer; If I select a machine and then I do a right click for a scan, all computers are scanned. If I want to scan just one computer, I have to go in the details of the pc which is not convenient. Is there a better way?
Question: Can we pass variables (computer name) to a PowerWhell? I.e. Tool gets info from AD and sets it on the computer.
Question: How can I easily copy and paste all the packages from Schedule_A to the Schedule_A_Duplicate?
Question: How can I run a Deploy schedule against different Inventory collections at different times?
Question: If I have PDQ open on a computer, and am elsewhere and want to access PDQ, is there a way to close the open one?
Question: Is it possible to replace Edge as standard Browser for logged on users on Windows 10?
Question: Last week you answered why the agent was removed but not if it will return. Will the agent be back at some point?
Question: Is there a way to deploy a package based on a pre-installed program being 32 or 64 bit or is it only based on the OS?
Question: How can I get the Last Used Date for Installed Programs?
Question: What suggestions do you have for dealing with remote users and computers, without an agent available?
Question: How do I exclude certain computers from a dynamic collection?
Question: What are the main differences between the free and paid versions of PDQ Deploy?
Question: If I send a command to a computer and it passes back a prompt (press Y to continue, etc), is there a way to interact?
Question: Some of my machines state they are "Unreachable or Offline" yet the machine is showing as online. Why is this?
