We have just released PDQ Deploy 2.0 Release 2.

Among various bug fixes we have introduced some fairly major changes and features. These changes actually required some fundamental architecture revisions that makes PDQ Deploy faster and paves the way for some great new features in the coming months.

New changes and features

Here are a few of my favorite changes:

  • Package Library

  • Upgrade Protection now included in Subscription

  • 32/64-bit Package Conditions

    • You will no longer need to keep separate packages for 32-bit and 64-bit applications

We plan on adding OS, File and Registry conditions in upcoming releases.

The subscription

If you want to utilize the Package Library you will need to either activate, purchase a subscription, or run a 14-day free trial.

Free is still free

Lastly – we want to remind all our free mode users that using the Package Library is not required. You can still create all your own packages for installing just about every application or patch out there. That is, after all, the beauty of PDQ Deploy.
