Expands endpoint coverage with PDQ Connect — without expanding workload

AnTek Consulting is a South Florida–based managed service provider (MSP) led by owner-operator Andrew Ames. AnTek supports a mix of customers, from small fully managed environments to organizations with internal IT staff that rely on Andrew for backend oversight and escalations. Across those environments, the work is consistent: Endpoints need to be updated, secured, and supported quickly, without turning routine tasks into a constant drain on limited time.
From complicated to convenient
Before adopting PDQ Connect, software deployment was often slow and cumbersome. “On the platform I was using before, it was so complicated, it actually took a 2-day boot camp just to learn how to use the proprietary package builder,” Andrew said. “It was actually easier for me to remote in to machines and manually load the software.”
PDQ Connect changed that dynamic by simplifying how endpoint work gets done.
“It’s the easiest way for me to install software, patch updates, check vulnerabilities, and automate more of my work. The application distribution is phenomenal. It just made my life so much easier.”
Consistency is key
Today, PDQ Connect is the foundation AnTek uses for core endpoint management. Andrew uses PDQ Connect to deploy and update applications, respond to vulnerabilities, and maintain visibility across devices without needing to treat every customer or endpoint as a special case. Devices are organized into clear groups — servers, workstations, and remote systems — making it easy to target actions quickly and consistently. “You can organize everybody,” he said. “I can separate servers from PCs from remote devices. I love it.”
That consistency matters most when responding to vulnerabilities. PDQ Connect makes it easy to identify affected endpoints and apply updates at scale, rather than chasing fixes one system at a time. “I can see exactly which machines need attention,” Andrew said. “Applying updates across all of them is fast and straightforward.”

Efficiency gains
As AnTek expanded, Andrew adopted PDQ Connect’s multitenant structure to keep customer environments segmented while using the same deployment, patching, and monitoring workflows across tenants. “We switched to multitenancy and got everybody separated,” he said.
The efficiency gains are tangible.
Since standardizing endpoint management with PDQ Connect, AnTek has reduced time spent on routine software deployments and updates by approximately 8 to 10 hours per week, allowing Andrew to focus more time on customer strategy and complex issues. “Our costs and time spent supporting customers with general maintenance and support have decreased significantly, allowing us to improve our maintenance, oversight, and support of customers with limited staffing. This has allowed us to expand our operations while increasing revenue by 21%, profit by 25%, and reducing overall costs by 21% over the last 2 years.”

Looking to the future
Andrew also values PDQ’s continued investment in MSP-focused development. “Ever since I started using PDQ Connect, it’s just made my life easier,” he said. “I’m excited to see how the product continues to grow and support MSPs like us.”
For AnTek Consulting, PDQ Connect delivers a simple but critical outcome: a reliable way to manage endpoints across customers efficiently, without letting routine work take over the day.
